1.  RULES 1.  REGOLE
1.1  The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012. 1.1  La manifestazione sarà governata in base alle regole così come definite ne "Le Regole di Regata della Vela per il 2009-2012".
1.2  APPENDIX C 'Match Racing Rules' and APPENDIX W 'Rules of Racing for Virtual Sailing (experimental)', that will be available together to Sailing Instructions, will apply. 1.2  Verranno applicate l'Appendice C 'Regole per il Match Racing' e l'Appendice (sperimentale) W 'Regole di Regata per la Vela Virtuale' che sarà disponibile insieme alle Istruzioni di Regata.
1.3  The following racing rules will be changed 14, 20.1, 21, 26, 27, 29.2, 32.1 and some rules of Parts 4,5,6 and 7, rule C2.4 (13.2) and some other rules of Appendix C, as will be described in Appendix W. Sailing Instructions can also change other rules any time between the steps of the event. 1.3  Verranno modificate le seguenti regole di regata: 14, 20.1, 21, 26, 27, 29.2, 32.1 e alcune regole delle Parti 4,5,6 e 7, la regola C2.4(13.2) e alcune altre della Appendice C, come sarà descritto nella Appendice W. Le istruzioni di regata potranno inoltre cambiare altre regole di regata in ogni momento compreso tra due diversi stadi della manifestazione.
1.4  If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence. 1.4  In caso di diversa interpretazione in base alla lingua, il testo Inglese è quello predominante.
   
2.  ADVERTISING 2.  PUBBLICITA'
Real advertising is not allowed to competitors. La pubblicità reale non è consentita ai partecipanti.
   
3.   ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY 3.  CRITERI DI PARTECIPAZIONE ED ISCRIZIONE
3.1  The regatta is open to boats of the ACC VSK class. 3.1  La manifestazione è aperta alle barche di classe ACC VSK.
3.2  Competitors will submit their entry by opening a new thread in forum HC 10 Registration listing (the bold listed items are mandatory)

As results, protests and defences sending will be automatically managed, it is necessary that the team makes known names and e-mail addresses of all members will be allowed to transmission if data.

All competitors shall be registered at vskitalia.com.

 3.2  I concorrenti potranno comunicare la loro iscrizione aprendo una nuova discussione sul forum HC 10 Registration indicando (i dati in grassetto sono obbligatori):
Il nome del team
Nome ed e-mail del capitano del team
(Eventuale Nome ed E-Mail del Vice Capitano)
(Eventuale Indirizzo E-Mail Alias per tutto il team)
(Eventuale collegamento per lo scaricamento della/le skin del team
Nome dei componenti del team, che devono essere obbligatoriamente in numero di quattro, compresi il capitano e l'eventuale vice capitano.
E-mail di tutti i componenti del team
E' possibile indicare un capitano non-giocatore

Dal momento che per la trasmissione di risultati, proteste e difese verrà utilizzata una procedura automatica, è necessario che il team comunichi i nominativi e gli indirizzi e-mail di tutti i componenti.

3.3 Late entries will be accepted only under the following conditions:
(a)  for serious and legitimate reason
(b)  to fill empty slot in starting grid
(c)  at the discretion of the Committee
 3.3 Le iscrizioni tardive saranno accettate alle seguenti condizioni:
(a)  per ragioni serie e motivate
(b)  per completare la griglia dei partecipanti
(c)  a discrezione del comitato
3.4 The format of the event includes the participation of syndacates, each  composed of four skippers, each union will therefore present 4 boats. While entering it is allowed to present the name of a single skipper, which is the captain of the team, but by the entering deadline, only teams that have indicated the names of all four components will be allowed to race. 3.4 Il format dell' evento prevede la partecipazione di sindacati composti da 4 skipper; ogni sindacato dovrà pertanto presentare 4 barche partecipanti; all'atto dell'iscrizione è possibile indicare anche solo un componente (il capitano del team), ma verranno ammessi alle regate solo i team che hanno indicato i nominativi di tutti e quattro i loro componenti entro la chiusura delle iscrizioni.
   
4.  CLASSIFICATION 4.  CLASSIFICAZIONE
4.1  The following classification  will apply:
(a)  New entries: o points
(b)  Not-entered in editions 2007-2008-2009: o points
(c)  Previous editions (2007-2009)  entries: 1 point
(d)  Previous edition (2007-2009) Semi-Finalists: 3 points
(e)  Previous editions (2007-2009) Finalists: 5 points
(f)   Previous editions (2007-2009) Winners: 10 points
 4.1  Verrà applicata la seguente classificazione:
(a)  Prime iscrizioni: Zero punti
(b)  Non partecipanti alle edizioni 2007-2008-2009: 0 punti
(c)  Iscritti alle edizioni 2007-2008-2009: 1 punto
(c)  Semifinalisti delle edizioni 2007-2008-2009: 3 punti
(e)  Finalisti delle edizioni 2007-2008-2009: 5 punti
(f)  Vincitori delle edizioni 2007-2008-2009: 10 punti
4.2  Every team will be classified with poits equal to added points of each member; first 16 teams will be admitted to competition. 4.2  Ogni sindacato verrà classificato con un punteggio pari alla somma dei punti di ogni suo membro.
4.3  Teams will be assigned to their round robin series by means of preliminary ranking (4.1 and 4.2) and of results of fleet race at the beginning of the event. 4.3  I sindacati verrano assegnati ai gironi di qualificazione in base alla graduatoria preliminare (punti 4.1 e 4.2) ed ai risultati della regata di flotta che dà inizio al torneo
4.4 The Committee may, with a motivated reason, assign a team to a round robin series that is different to what is resulting from preliminary ranking and fleet racing results. 4.4  Il comitato puo', motivandone la ragione, assegnare un sindacato ad un  girone diverso da quello derivante dalla graduatoria risultante dalla classificazione e dall'esito della regata di flotta.
4.5  If the number of teams exceeded the maximum number allowed the teams will be selected on the basis of classification set out in paragraphs 4.1 and 4.2. 4.5  Qualora il numero di sindacati iscritti superasse il numero massimo, i team ammessi verrano selezionati sulla base della classificazione di cui ai punti 4.1 e 4.2.

No fees are required. Non sono previste tasse di iscrizione

7.4 Number of races: 7.3 Numero di regate

The number of races for each competitor will be stated in Sailing Instructions.

Il numero di regate per ogni concorrente verrà comunicato nelle Istruzioni di Regata.
7.4 The courses will be available for training seven days before start of flight or series 7.4 I campi di regata saranno disponibili per gli allenamenti sette giorni prima dell'inizio del volo o della serie di regate.
   
8.   SAILING INSTRUCTIONS 8. ISTRUZIONI DI REGATA
The sailing instructions will be available after 31.01.2010 on vskitalia.com/hc10 under Sailing Instr.. Le istruzioni di regata saranno disponibili dopo il 31.01.2010 su vskitalia.com/hc10 alla voce Sailing Instr..
 
9.  THE COURSES 9. CAMPI DI REGATA
The courses will be available as stated in 7.4; anyway they will be standard MR courses (2 legs upwind, 2 legs downwind, and downwind gate). I campi di regata saranno disponibili come stabilito al punto 7.4; in ogni caso si tratta di campi standard da Match Race (2 lati di bolina e due lati di poppa e cancello di poppa).
   
10.  PENALTY SYSTEM 10.  SISTEMA DI PENALITA'
Decisions of the protest committee or international Jury will be final as provided in rule 70.5. Le decisioni del comitato proteste o della giuria internazionale, sono inappellabili ai sensi della regola 70.5
   
11.  SCORING 11.  PUNTEGGIO
The Scoring System will be stated in Sailing Instructions. Il Sistema di Punteggio verrà comunicato nelle Istruzioni di Regata.
   
12.  COMMUNICATIONS racing 12.  COMUNICAZIONI in regata
12.1  Electronic communication is allowed during competition. 12.1  Le comunicazioni elettroniche sono ammesse durante la manifestazione.
12.2  Chat communication is allowed during competition to boat racing only, or, as an alternative, to their designated representative. 12.2  Le comunicazioni via chat durante le regate sono consentite solo ai partecipanti o, in alternativa, al loro rappresentante designato.
   
13.  PRIZES 13.  PREMI
Horus Cup 2010 Trophy will be awarded to the winning team in a specific ceremony (place and date to determinate). Il trofeo Horus Cup 2010 sarà consegnato alla squadra vincitrice durante un'apposita cerimonia (luogo e data da determinare)
   
14.  DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY 14.  SCARICO DI RESPONSABILITA'
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See 'rule 4, Decision to Race'. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta. I concorrenti partecipano alla regata a loro rischio e pericolo. Vedi 'regola 4, decisione di correre'. Il Comitato Organizzatore non si assume alcuna responsabilità per danni materiali o lesioni personali o morte subiti in corrispondenza o prima, durante o dopo la regata.
